Bio:

Delia has been my home for over 20 years, with my family farming in the area for nearly a century. I graduated from Delia School and only left briefly to attend the University of Lethbridge, where I earned my Bachelor of Management with Great Distinction.

After returning home, I began working in economic development and became an active member of our region’s business community, serving as Vice President of the Hanna Chamber of Commerce.

As Mayor, I look forward to working closely with our neighbouring municipalities, supporting local growth, and helping expand Delia’s tax base. Most importantly, I’m committed to listening to our community’s needs and doing my part to make Delia an even better place to live.

Deputy Mayor

Bio:

Hi, I’m Jordan Elliott (formerly MacNutt), councillor for the Village of Delia.

I was born in Stettler and have lived and worked in a few places in Southern Alberta including Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. Just over five years ago, my significant other, Carson Elliott, and I decided to move to Delia to pursue a career and we’ve been in love with the community ever since. We decided to purchase a home here in Delia because its central for our jobs but it’s the people that make it a great place to live.

The council and I are working hard to make Delia a great community to live in. It’s a quiet, rural Village but oers so much to people that want to be involved in making a home for their family. As I write this, we’re anticipating our new K to 12 school, we’ve got new homes being built and businesses interested in setting up shop. I am proud to represent the people that live in our Village and hope that by working together, we can continue to make Delia a great place.
