The Elks of Canada is “A Canadian Volunteer organization of men and women serving communities”
The Elks of Canada was founded in 1912, has nearly 300 lodges with 13,000 members in every province and territory.
The men and women of Elks of Canada promote and support community needs across Canada. Elk members love to be involved and help out whether it is building projects, sports groups, playgrounds or other various charitable activities.
The Elks and Royal Purple Fund for Children is the Elks own national charity. We take pride in helping children and supporting programs related to hearing and speech all across Canada.
The Delia Elks was organized in 1965. In just over 50 years, the Elks have given back to the community over $500,000.
Some of the Elks contributions have been to the AG Society to help pay for public skating, provide yearly scholarships, help with busing students to Drumheller for swimming lessons, support the community hall, support the seniors drop in centre, the Delia Parent Council and the Delia Library.
Would you like to make a difference in our community? Would you like to enjoy a network of friends having fun while helping others? We invite you to join us and become an Elk. The Delia Elks are in need of more members and will always welcome non members to assist with our pancake breakfast (which is held on the 2nd Sunday of the month from October to May) and every Tuesday evening is the Elks bingo.
Bingos are held every Tuesday at the Community Centre: Doors open at 7:00pm; Bingo starts at 8:00pm. Come play and support the Delia Elks Lodge
