Delia Drop In Centre
The Drop In Centre is owned by the Delia & District Senior Citizens. The Centre is home to many activities every month. The members are strong community boosters. Everyone is welcome, there are no age restrictions.
Activities Coffee: Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 9:00 am: A time to socialize and/or enjoy a game of cards or pool or shuffleboard. It is not mandatory to play, just come to visit.
Monthly meetings: 2nd Thursday of the month at 10:00 am
Monthly Pot Lucks Noon 3rd Wednesday of month: Bring your favorite dish and have a visit with your neighbors. If you’re new to the Village, it’s a great time for us to meet you.
Wednesday Evenings: 7:00pm cards or pool, weekly 50/50 draw. Come out for a fun evening playing cards or a game of pool. We have snacks and refreshments and every week a 50/50 draw.
Christmas Party: in December
Booking Centre: The centre holds up to 70 people so the centre can be used for family gatherings, youth and community use and meetings. Contact: Carol Sisley (403) 821-1048
Membership: The Delia Senior’s welcome new members to join, dues are $20.00 per year. Become actively involved in the happenings at the center and bring in new ideas to keep the centre open so Delia will have a place for our seniors to go. The seniors plan periodic outings for members and other residents.
